This is an initiative of ACT Foundation Inc. in partnership of the ever active Hon. Congresswoman Sittie Aminah Q. Dimaporo and the town Mayor Angel “Thata” Yap in congruence of the National Peace Consciousness Month Celebration held on September 25, 2022 at Lala Gymanasium. The program began with the opening remarks by the Chairman of the Committee on Peace and Order and Councilor for the Municipality of Lala, Hon.Dick A. Salimbangon.The keynote speaker, Congresswoman Aminah, talked about how being young is both fun and a responsibility. She went on to say, "...respecting the boundaries of our school and our institution... that's what shapes us to be better people." This pilot meet up was also attended by Capt. Virgil Thomas Visabella [Cav] of PA Battalion Commander 51st Mechanized Infantry through a representative conveys the message of unity. Pmaj Rando M. Salvacion, the PNP Chief of Police in Lala, Lanao del Norte, also gave a message of peace. Youth are persuaded by the event to choose peace over war. To create a just world, it is essential to instill such thoughts in young people. Mob dancing and presentations demonstrated that despite diversity, everyone should remain united.
