EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. P2020-001

For this reason, in accordance with the Executive Order No. 09 Series of 2020 issued by the Municipal Mayor of LGU-Lala that “Class and graduation ceremonies are suspended in all Private and Public Schools of all levels in the Municipality of Lala, Lanao del Norte and it shall be observed starting March 16, 2020 and shall remain in effect until further notice”, we have decided that effective today, March 16, 2020 all classes from the Elementary, High School and College department will be suspended until further notice. Exams and other activities set for this month are likewise suspended and resumption will be announced through our radio station, website, and through our various public information platforms. During this period, faculty members and program staff will shift all academic instructions online. For students who cannot access online due to poor or unavailable internet connection at home, handouts will be distributed by the faculty concerned to allow students to make necessary preparations for remote learning. During this period, the academic leaders of NCMC have agreed to observe the following schedules:

     SUSPENSION OF CLASSES:

  • March 16, 2020 until further notice (All Year Levels)

  • Faculty & Staff are required to be on post (unless endorsed by the Department Head “not fit to work or with other valid/ approved reasons)

            GRADUATION CEREMONY SCHEDULE:

  • ELEMENTARY – April 13, 2020 (Tentative)

  • HIGH SCHOOL – April 14-15, 2020 (Tentative)

  • COLLEGE – April 24, 2020 (Tentative)

            OFFICE HOURS/ BUSINESS TRANSACTION SCHEDULE:

  • 8:00am – 3:00pm Monday – Friday (Effective March 17, 2020 until further notice)

  • Saturdays – No office/ business transactions (effective March 21, 2020 until further notice)

It is important to note that NCMC will stay “open” and academic administrative offices will continue to operate. In consultation with various department heads, we are now finalizing “work/office from home” protocols for those employees “not fit to work / high risk personnel” with valid/ approved reasons not to report on post, to enable us to continue providing services to the students and various stakeholders while mitigating the risks of potential exposure to the virus.

We continually appeal to your understanding to strictly observe the directive to limit entry to the school premises to faculty, staff, students and those with official NCMC businesses. We regret that we will not be allowing visits by anyone who do not have official NCMC business transaction during this pandemic crisis, so as not to put everyone’s health to additional risk. This precautionary measure is aligned with the mandated order issued by the authorities and experts to lower the risk of infection.

We humbly ask for everyone’s full cooperation and continually pray that all will remain healthy and safe.

            Thank you and God bless!
