On October 10, 2022, at the NCMC Gym, the NCMC Criminology Department  hosts a Cybercrime Symposium for its Criminology 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Year students. PSSg Bryan Chua Dahili, Chief Investigator, Kolambugan MPS, was the event's resource speaker.

The focus on the Anti-Cyber Crime Law was further discussed. The topic was especially well suited for the students taking the relevant course.

The Cyber Crime Prevention Act of 2012, Republic Act No. 10175, is a law that defines cybercrime, provides for its investigation, suppression, prevention, and punishment, among other aspects. The symposium placed a strong emphasis on everyone's protection against unplanned and unpredictable cybercrime-related incidents.
