The North Central Mindanao College Library’s main priority is to supplement the instructions imparted in the classroom.

Policies & Procedures

Rules & Regulations

  • BAGS and other bulky things must be deposited in the BAGGAGE AREA.
  • Don’t forget to LOG IN.
  • Any person who is held responsible for the book must RETURN THE BOOK it in its good condition. (Like for instance; pages must not be torn, don’t write anything to the pages of the book, and cover must not be ripped.)
  • The library is an area for study and learning. EATING, DRINKING, AND ALL TOBACCO PRODUCTS are not allowed. CELLPHONE must be in a SILENT MODE.
  • Please be QUIET inside the library. Don’t disturb others while studying.
  • VANDALISM IS PROHIBITED (defacing, marking, cutting, mutilating or damaging library resources in any way shall not be tolerated. Whoever is caught shall be subject to disciplinary action and/ or will be charged the full replacement cost of the resource.
  • KEEP YOUR OWN TRASH.
  • PUSH BACK THE CHAIRS.
  • Please keep your LIBRARY CARD.
  • If you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask the LIBRARIAN in an approachable manner.

NOTE: Any person who doesn’t obey the rules and regulations;

  • Shall not be allowed to borrow any library collections
  • Shall not be permitted to use the college library
  • Shall not be issued clearance

Cyber Area Policies

  • Ask the cyber in-charge before using the computers.
  • Sign the students’ log-book that indicates your name, course, time log-in, and pc number for possible follow –up in case the student leaves the computer with loss and damages.
  • Present the library card first then get the pc number that will be going to use.
  • User/s must not exceed for more than two hours of using every day.
  • Charging of phones are not allowed.
  • Foods and drinks are strictly prohibited
  • Only one student is allowed to use the computer at a time.
  • User/s can ask the assistance of the cyber area in-charge in case there will be problems in the computers.
  • The cyber is open for use from 8:00 am in the morning and 5:00 in the afternoon from Monday to Saturday.
  • User/s must not forget to sign the log-book to state what exact time he/she is logging out.

NOTE: Any person who doesn’t obey the rules and regulations will be given warning form. The following consequences will be based on the gravity of the situation:

  • Shall not be issued clearance;
  • Shall memorize the mission and vision of the library;
  • Shall be sent to the guidance office;
  • Shall not be allowed to borrow any library collections; and
  • Shall not be permitted to use the college library.
